Thali #9 recipe – Lunch / Dinner idea
Thali items:
1) Amaranth green stir fry – healthy, nutritious dish that is ready in less than 15 minutes
2) Potato fry – thin potato wedges rubbed with turmeric and salt, and fried
3) Okra fry – slices of okra or bhindi shallow fried and seasoned with salt
4) Eggplant fry – also called begun bhaja, round slices of eggplant rubbed with turmeric and salt, and shallow fried
5) Kachumber salad – chopped cucumber, tomatoes, onion in lemon juice, salt, chilli powder dressing
6) Steamed rice and pickle
7) Majjigehuli – yogurt based bottle gourd curry (placed outside the plate)
8) Kachagolla – healthy and very easy to make Bengali dessert. I will share the recipe soon (placed outside the plate)
